Really? Did they not get a judgment against the wife as well which affects him? I’d be delighted if they managed to scupper his plans for a few more years.
No idea of ins and outs of wife situation but it was rumoured they used her as leverage alright. Yates was discharged from bankruptcy in UK years ago though so all liabilities he had were extinguished at that point unless he had specifically made an agreement on some of it e.g. his home loan. But I doubt he did that really. Legally he is free to do as he pleases as far as I can see unless he was dishonest with the bankruptcy assignee, but I’d say he is well in the clear now.

Yeah but she was a signatory on some of the debts I believe so when they couldn’t chase him they chased her for his debts. That’s why he’s gone again. It might be a case for calling @mac?
