Late Late Show - Tubridy Terror

So what do you like to listen to.

Apparently there is.

It near killed poor Charlie.

I wonder if the doctor asked him “what colour is the wind”?

I’d be open enough to all sorts of music once it’s not sh!te.

One mans shite is another mans is another mans classic.

The fact so many tuned in to the Late Late to watch Nathan Carter and Daniel O’Donnell is deeply disturbing. These people are allowed to vote, no wonder the country is fucked.

Makes absolutely no sense to equate people’s musical tastes to how they vote.
It’s a bit like saying that everybody who voted on the gay marriage referendum are either raging homos or raging homophobes.

Yep , we need the sauve sophisticated urban electorate who gave us Haughey , Ray Burke , Bertie, Lawlor etc . Also Paul Murphy , Ruth Copponger , Joan Burton , Gilmore , Tony Gregory etc . Electing corrupt politicians , loonies , spoofers , parish pumpers etc is not the sole preserve of C&W fans .

Generally politicians get their cummepance within the pale. Did FF win any seats in the 2011 election in Dublin? Lowry only topped the poll when word got out he was corrupt.

Correct and Ray Lyneham and the Hillbillys played at his victory party.

If a questionnaire were handed to Lowry voters about their musical tastes I’d say they’d have Wagon Wheel as the best tune of all time. Not because they believe it but it would be the only tune they’d know by name.

So what type of musical taste should the modern day voter have then?

I wouldn’t like to dictate what music anyone should listen to. There should be an iq test to be allowed vote though.

They lose their seats in rural areas too . Urban voters are more easily swayed by snake oil salesmen .

I’d be suspicious of someone who proclaimed a dislike of Dylan, the Beatles and REM Mike.

I know but Yesterday when I woke up I thought I was losing my religion. When I asked the man above for guidance, he told me the answer was blowing in the wind.

But sure you just did that a few posts ago.

Don’t think I did.

Oh I think you did.
