Each to their own I suppose. Hard to compare him to Gaybo but he’s a huge improvement on Pat. The Late Late is not Prime Time or Newsnight. It has to navigate a line between serious current affairs and light entertainment.
He’s certainly not letting him off lightly. Cowan looks uncomfortable.
