There was a lot less said about Nibali doping last year when he was much more dominant than Froome has been so far this year. Froome is probably afraid of his shit to attack now.
I think weāll know conclusively this weekend if heās doping.
If he attacks on Saturday up Alpe dāHuez then heās clearly cheating.
If he doesnāt attack then heās obviously afraid of exposing himself to further scrutiny so heās clearly cheating.
Probably. But the English speaking media werenāt as interested in him either as a success story or as a fraud. The event went under the radar a bit last year. Just like dopers not called Armstrong didnāt get the same attention 10 years ago either.
The funny thing is, even if what your saying is completely true. This doping cloak and dagger stuff is probably making cycling more entertaining in a fucked up kind of way
People donāt like Froome. People donāt like his mot. People donāt like his style of riding. People donāt like the way he acts as a sportsman. People donāt like his āthey didnāt wake me upā missed dope test story. People donāt like that he arrives to the top of horrendous MTFs sprinting down his rivalsā attacks while remaining seated, something never seen before. People donāt like his Classics/track rider team mate pulling him up mountains and even then making a show of some of the worldās best climbers who have been banned or linked to doping. People donāt like Brailsford, his attitude and Skyās continual unabashed breaking of rules they set themselves.
I think thatās why Froome gets more attention than Nibali did last year.
He looks tired now. His skin is starting to go, developing spots and whatnot. He is close to the edge I think. Just depends on whether any of the others have the legs to test him.
