Leinster Hurling Championship 2024

No number 6 perhaps. He was down to.play full back initially.

@Midshipman_Asha @Malarkey and anyone else from kk who was there, do you think kk would have been substantially better with a full team?
I couldnā€™t see anyone who didnā€™t perform for ye, save the goal that might not have gone in.

Lauren seems to have switched codes lately to rugby anyway. Possibly because of her boyfriendā€™s involvement in that sport. She was out in New Zealand in 2022 for the summer tour. She doesnā€™t appear to be physio for the Tipp minor hurlers anymore either and the days of her interviewing roasters outside GAA grounds are long gone.

Someone using sport for their own personal gain. More power to her if she gets paid.

Massive blow to the split season zealots

The team somehow seems to play better without Cody.
Everybody knows at this stage that heā€™s not going to pass the ball.
He can be dangerous when he manages to burst through alright.
Itā€™s a hard one to callā€¦

Outside of David Fitzgerald, Adrian Mullen was the best player on show during the league. He would be an upgrade on any player between 8-15 for KK on Sunday.

Eoin Cody on paper is better than a good few of them but wasnā€™t hurling that well during the league.

I couldnā€™t see any kk player who didnā€™t play well. They played well as a team. Whilst the players missing are all quality, it didnā€™t seem to hamper them too much.
Now whether theyā€™d be the same against the size and brute strength and conditioning of Limerick Iā€™m uncertain, and youā€™d certainly want your big names, but none got cleaned really bar whoever daithi burke was in the vicinity of, and all looked to be fit strong skilful and absolutely tuned in.
Lyng appears to be running a very contented camp.
I think heā€™s an outstanding manager.

It feels like we are trundling towards another Kilkenny v Limerick AIF. Another hiding for Kilkenny in that and the Kilkenny natives could start getting restless.

I do agree Lyng is doing a top job. Kilkenny always show up. Their bad day is generally not too bad at all. Its just Limerick seem to be miles ahead of everyone at the moment.

True enough but it looks like Limerick are trying to avoid Wexford again this season by hook or by crook. Their greatness canā€™t really be confirmed because of that.

Think Clare will account for Kilkenny this time if they meet in a semi as expected.

Kk have the hurling, they just arenā€™t big enough for Limerick, who also appear to have devised a second half masterplan completely different to their last second half masterplan.
It looks to me like they just drop the HB line deeper and start running. That and bring on the bomb squad.

We can always enter a team in the JoeMc to play ye next year

Split Limerick in two?

Would you use the old reg system? L and LK? City and county? Or Limerick A & B and pick from just senior clubs for A and the rest for the B team?

Fuck sake flatty we made them look good. We were woeful.

Yeah, what the fuck like. Played enough time for Galway to equalise alright didnā€™t he, huh???

DƔithƭ has actually looked human this year and I thought was fairly average on Sunday

Everyone says that about us but we didnā€™t land a shot on limerick in last years league final and were outscored 0-21 to 1-5 in the 2nd half of the all Ireland.
I feel we get a soft ride from the media compared to say galway. We both lost by 9 points to limerick in the all Ireland series.

Who is Lauren Guilfoyle?
