I didnt get to see the wexford v kilkenny game live or the the Sunday game highlights.
but i was just wondering how wexford did not win that game i see that they scored 9 points more from play than kilkenny…was it soft frees being given against them or what…i do think thats incredble that Wexford scored 9 points more from play and still did not win the match.
Kilkenny bought some handy frees in the last 10 minutes alright but the peno was a big factor
When you add in the concession of two stoppage time goals against Dublin and the whittling away of a 7 point lead up in Belfast then it’s been a classic case of Wexford shooting ourselves in the foot. At least we escaped in 3rd this year though. That looked a long shot after the first couple of games.

Alas, like Galway, he’s regressed. And like most of Galway it seems, he has no love for the hurling team.
That’s because Kilkenny people think they’re great sports altogether and have beaten the fuck out of us more times than they’d care to remember.

To be honest i didnt see either game on Sunday …family event…but maybe Dublin would have won even without sending off ?
I watched a lot of the earlier games and my impression is that Dubs deserve to be in final instead of Wexford least of all because they didnt have a total fuck up like wex in corrigan pk in any of their games.
They had 2 away games also.
Having said that i still have the distinct feeling that
Wex would have a better chance of taking Kk in final…

Wexford gave away lots of frees by dragging back a kk if there was half a chance of goal. Most of the frees were genuine frees. Tj and keoghan also hit some poor wides from play.
Never is nor will. I’d have great respect for Kilkenny supporters. For the most part very knowledgeable and can have a genuine laugh with.
I wouldn’t go that far. Galway were on top at that point and comfortable albeit wind assisted.
