Worse still, ne’er a sub to be seen.
Maybe theyve been trying to teach them to swing in a phone box.
Do Burke & Donohoe play in midfield together or was this typical lazy Sunday Game analysis by Sheedy last weekend?
Look, the two midfielders scored 5 points between them. Here’s one of them hitting it over the bar & here’s the other one doing the same. Dublin have a great midfield with these two.
A mannequinly team.
That’s a disgrace and everyone involved needs to be fired
In fairness they do both play midfield. Sometimes Dublin play a 3rd lad in MF. Brian Hayes or Darragh Power would fill that role based on the team picked there.
Conor Burke is a great fella to get shots off. Would generally get 4/5 a game. One of these days they will all go over and he’ll end up with a nice tally beside his name.
@habanerocat won’t like that
Just checking, shouldn’t have doubted sporting & business titan Mr Sheedy.
Think tomorrow will be a tight & cagey affair. Wexford will probably flood the middle sector too & I reckon there’ll be lots of lateral passing, rucks on a boggy pitch, two teams overly concerned with how the other is setting up, bodies behind the ball & generally a game where those watching on GAA+ will be saying…Leinster hurling is fucked.
Neither team is going to be good enough to win the game so its obviously going to end up a draw.
Whats it got to do with Limerick?
Ultimately it will come down to how Lee Chin plays.
Dublin are really struggling under high direct ball ( fuck you EOD and your football notions), whereas Wexfords greatest strength in route 1 on Chin.
Last week Dublin gave a debut to Paddy Dunleavy who picked up Oisin Kelly. He struggled there. Chin is another level or two up on him.
I’d imagine Daire Gray named in the subs is likely to start.
Wexford will beat Dublin by 4 or 5 points pulling up
Is AJ Murphy from Na Fianna injured or just a good club hurler?
Does anybody know if any pub in Weford town is showing this on GAA+ ?
For a variety of reasons he has never got a real run at senior intercounty. I think he will get a run as a sub on Saturday and has something to offer.
On form and committed he’s a big loss…but not sure where he’s been at over last couple of seasons, even allowing for injuries.
Have a look at the first 10 minutes/first half of last year’s Leinster final focussing only on him. Sauntering around, constantly on the wrongside of rucks and opponents. It was a shocking display, especially from a captain.
Oh I agree frustrating as hell. Watching him in club is far state worse. However I believe the current mgmt might have got a tune out of him. He’d match up well on Chin.
Paddy Doyle did well on Chin two years ago. I’d imagine Gray might be in for Dunleavy
Tomorrow is a big, big day for that management team. The 3rd All-Ireland winning club manager in a row over Dublin but the previous two flattered to deceive when I expected them to push on a bit more.
