Waterford will be no where near as bad as some on here believe. If Tipp are to win, they wonât be getting it handy.
There might be a kick in them, and Tipp are on their third week out in a row, but itâs almost impossible to see them sustain such key player losses.
Cork beat KK in 2013
Ozzy back in the starting team is a huge plus.
No hope. Tipp are the big danger.
Iâd fully expect Tipperary to win tomorrow but would agree with you that I anticilate Waterford will give a better account of themselves than expected. If Gleeson and OâMahony could survive unscathed tomorrow and get Maurice and Kevin Moran back for last two games, they still have prospects of advancement. Waterford have gone a lot better in modern times against Limerick and Cork than they have against Tipperary and Clare.
Wrong thread.
Correct.
Those cunts were painful with their often incorrect insider information and constantly referring to the players by their nicknames along with their shit banter.
Wexford would be better off losing next week, gimme qualifier then have a tilt at a quarter final, in all likelihood losing to us in a leinster final again wouldnât set them up well
Mind you id rather we played them than kk. We need practice combatting an accurate running game, no other team really sets up like Kilkenny do now (just lamp it to tj or walter)
Reading Davyâs mind thatâs what heâs thinking too - based on his comments in the press. Heâs looking for a way of throwing the game.
14,500 was the official attendance. Stand 20 % empty. Farcical scenes. P.A. system is still utterly useless a full 17 years after the park was re-opened.
Seems nuts to play 4 weeks on the bounce and the have a 3 week break to Leinster Final.
The strawberries are fucking great this year though.
Yeah the PA was cat. Still a nice pitch and stadium. Didnât realise there was that much of a hill up to it!
You need serious forwards to beat this Galway team and no side in Leinster has them.
What proof is there that these wexford players are better than theyâre showing. Not many would make that Galway team who are worthy all ireland favs
Good lad
Are Championship results under Davy any better than Liam Dunne? Soundly beaten by Galway now twice and Waterford. In Liam Dunneâs last year 2016, Wexford beat Cork for the first time in Championship hurling since 1956. In 2014 Clare were dethroned as All Ireland Champions and in 2013 Clare were brought to extra time en route to winning the All Ireland.
Beating Kilkenny was a big result last year. League performances have been excellent during his 2 years as well. Lost to a much better Galway twice and a better Waterford side last year. This years probable quarter final is a big game for his tenure. Munster teams could be over rated as often happens, county and club teams
I have to say the Sky coverage today was absolutely brilliant. OK the camera work on the field needs a bit of work, but everything else was very professional. Most importantly it exposes RTE with their stale coverage.
The moment of the day was when Jamsie was asked about Davy Fitz, the camera panned out and Ollie and JJ were in convulsions. .
