That was a great finish for the goal by Crummey. Like Mark Hughes in the Cup Winners Cup final against Barcelona. You thought he had gone too wide after rounding the goalkeeper, a defender was rapidly closing down the space on the line, but Crummey found the exact spot he had to.

If Niland had started and played the same as Joe first half he probably wouldnât have seen the second half. He is looking like a luxury player in the middle third now.

Good win for Dublin. Galway shot a lot of wides. Not sure what misfired for them.
Lovely and twee how Limerick lads are a bit reticent about putting the boot in knowing they play Cork tonight and they still think Galway are the biggest obstacle they have. Theyâve been bitten before and disappointment is in their DNA

Galway opting for three goals early on when they werenât on certainly didnât do them any favours. Could have done with the points in the board down the stretch

Noel McGrath can look stuck to the ground and ineffective tracking men in games and is hooked more times than not.
Dublin waltzed it up the middle at times at their ease.
In saying that I think Geroid Mc is a problem at 6 too, he just canât turn and his touch isnât great either. I think heâs living very much on his 2017 season which tbf was exceptional.
Never saw that coming. In fairness to Mattie we were really well set up and hugely motivated. Our best performance in 2 years. Delighted for Mattie on what must have been a difficult few days for him. James Madden showed great courage too playing the day after his father was buried.
I canât help feeling it was as much about Galway being shit as us being good. They were awful. It looked like they were flabbergasted by Dublinâs use of the sweeper. O Neill must have done no opposition analysis at all.

Itll depend on who wins. If Tipp beat Clare tomorrow, they wont be able to meet Waterford, Ditto Wexford and Laoise
