Leinster Senior hurling championship 2022

The north side of Limerick city is the home of Limerick hurling.

An average lad wouldnā€™t though. Youā€™d be used to hurdling walls.
I was also trying to think more in unfamiliar lines, so either out the prom and up any of the ways from there, or Dominic street, the crescent and past PJā€™s and right up through Devon gardens, or even shantalla and left across ardilaun like youā€™d say. Still would take the guts of an hour if youā€™re strolling.
Where did you have the breakfast?

Some of the unfittest human beings Iā€™ve ever seen (Rossies) managed to get from Huntsman to the 45 metres line on Dr Mannix terrace in just over 40 minutes back in 2019. I think itā€™s definitely doable.

Fine spot. Eyre Street is some spot to get a feed

A good spot.

The Stadium is only a 25 minute walk from there. Anyone that goes there via the prom deserves all the consequences.

I dunnoā€¦Iā€™m biased, delusional, more than half mad but I just didnā€™t see the quality in Sundayā€™s game that others have. Plenty of manliness and honest endeavour but not great. When @flattythehurdler mentions how brilliant the game was, we must remember he thinks Limerick city is a beautiful, beautiful placeā€¦

@Fagan_ODowd drew the parallels between Galway, Kilkenny, Dublin and Wexford based on results so far, and Iā€™m wary enough of the oldā€¦A beat B and B drew with C and C beat D and D beat A type stuff but I think itā€™s quite even based on what weā€™ve seen so far. Iā€™d practically written off our chances after the Dublin game but now I think we have a sneak again. Although, as I said, Kilkenny will likely beat us at home when they HAVE TO but I donā€™t think itā€™s a formality.

I thought Galway-Kilkenny was as good, or as bad, as Wexford v Galway and Wexford v Dublin. I thought the last 5 minutes or so encapsulated it. Galway blazed three wides in a row from the left corner/half forward position to get the insurance point to push it out to 4 points. Then they conspired to let Eoin Cody (who looked like the main/only danger to them) gain possession from a ruck and the keeper made an awful mistake after Cody laid it off for the other lad to shoot. Then the free and all that. It was exciting and a great match to win but there were loads of errors in that finale, and throughout.

I guess it comes down to who takes the LEARNINGS from these first few games and applies them GOING FORWARD. I think all sides in Leinster are still figuring out their best lineups (Wexfordā€™s half forward line selections in the first two games were quite frankly bizarre) and thereā€™s plenty of improvement needed in all aspects of play.

It wouldnā€™t surprise me if Dublin beat one of Kilkenny or Galway - Kilkenny offering the better chance probably because Dublin play them at home and next (itā€™d be tough to win in Galway off the back of playing Kilkenny). Dublin might already be qualified for the final before the last round of games in that scenario.

If the ref doesnā€™t bail ye out, Iā€™d expect kk to beat Wexford wherever itā€™s played.

The prom is a nice walk.

Did you touch the wall/stone at the end with your foot?

What time did the Wexford game throw in at on Sunday?

According to Kildangan Twitter, Coach Egan lined out for the Kildangan Seniors in their County League game which started at noon on Sunday.

2.30pm afaik.

I donā€™t

Poor move by Egan. You travel to and from I/C games with the team, this fella wouldnā€™t know how to build a culture if he found it in his snack box.

Is it not more likely a different fat lad was playing in goal for the club?

Maybe its a mistake on the Kildangan Twitter page but it seems very odd unless he came off at half time or something.

Heā€™s been playing most of their League games though with Barry Hogan inside with the County set up.
