He was very good at u20
There is no real precariousness to their position because they will not be relegated and there isnāt a hope they will win a quarter should they make it.
Things will change next year when Offaly replace Westmeath and the bottom of Leinster starts gdtting tighter.
Its a bit harsh that we will most likely go out due to the sequencing of games for the second year in a row after beating Wexford both years.
Dublin need to have a right go at Galway. They have gotten the better of them the last few years so you just never know.
Conahy Shamrocks, middle of the road intermediate team. Nickey Brennans club. They have James Bergin knocking around the Kilkenny panel this past few years as well.
I donāt follow. The dubs have the same number of games as everyone else
How old a chap is he. Canāt say I ever noticed him before
Offaly are not going to make any impact next year, surely a year or 2 too soon. You never know Carlow might have other ideas next week.
Heās about 25 I say.
Hurled fitzgibbon with UCD a few years back.
For the second year in a row wexford will play their last game against a disinterested kilkenny while dublin play a very interested galway
Why are Galway interested?
Are they not through the same as Kilkenny?
True. Its still in our hands
If we beat galway we go through to leinster final on head to head
If Wexford beat Kilkenny and Dublin beat Galway. Thereās a 3 way tie on 7 points of Dublin, Galway and Kilkenny. Is it not overall scoring difference that comes into play if more than 2 teams finish on same points total?
It is a far as I know
Are Wexford out?
Wexford are out regardless of what they do against Kilkenny if Dublin pick up a draw against Galway.
If Wexford beat Kilkenny (which you would expect) and Galway beat Dublin, Wexford advance and Dublin are out
He played most of the league matches, maybe two years ago, but didnāt get used much in the championship and I think he might have been injured last year.
Basically the same scenario as last season except Wexford havenāt drawn with Westmeath (yet). It was flagged here a couple of weeks ago that Wexford still had a decent chance of progressing as it was hard to envisage Dublin getting much against either Kilkenny or Galway. A perfect storm for Wexford knowing that Galway need to pick up a result against Dublin.
An odd story about Tom Phelan which also effected a Moran chap from Mayo last year was that he missed a years hurling with his club after signing a permanent transfer for the year whilst hurling in NY one summer.
