Leitrim Football 2013

Sub I think.
Having put the last approx 7 minutes thought into it, I’d go with the following XV to start :

McCrann

Beck
McMorrow
Wynne

Clarke
Reynolds
Williams

Lowe
Sweeney

Brennan
Mulligan
Hickey

Conlon
Glancy
Croal
I thought hickey was injured

Also best of luck to the minors against Mayo in castlebar Saturday evening

According to the Hogan Stand boys Hickey, Cox and BB Brennan are all out injured.

A few more things from the Hogan Stand forum (mostly bullshit I would say):
[]Ronan Gallagher seems to have fallen foul of management for backing the 4 on Twitter
[
]The 4 are considering legal action!!
[]Gary Reynolds is doubtful.
[
]A lot of posters putting up their teams but no mention of Croal in any of them. What’s his story? Massey?
Croal is injured Farmer. Serious ligament damage in NFL against Waterford I think. Expect Barry Prior to have a starting role, most likely at wing forward. Probably Paddy McGowan at m/f with Sweeney.

I’m guessing:
McCrann
Wynne
McMorrow
Egan
Beck
Reynolds
Williams
Sweeney
McGowan
Prior
Mulligan
Brennan
Conlon
Lowe
Glancy.

5/6 (-1) is stealing money…Huzzah!!!

Fucking hell but we’re dessimated.

Maguire
McKeon
Mossy Beirne
Moran
BB Brennan
Hickey
Cox
Croal
Conor Beirne

And all decent players for us.

Just reading up on London there and they seem to be strong in midfield. They also have a few lads coming back who were absent v Sligo.

Fuck.

I’m not that sure about our h/b or f/f lines

Why is a Longford based garda allowed play with a Dublin club?

Why is a Cavan based teacher allowed to play for Kildare?

Mulligans a guard he can do whatever the fuck he wants

It seems the Queen was invited to the Leitrim London match but can’t make it.

Time to bury all the ghosts of the past few weeks, the rancour and harsh comments, the negativity and “What ifs”.
We are the boys in Green and Gold, the 15 warriors who wear the jersey, our ancient cloak of resistance and passion, do so with all the pride and passion our fathers and forefathers handed down to us through generations.

We are Leitrim people, as proud and brave a race of people as ever walked this island. Tomorrow gives us the opportunity to unite as one force, rallying behind the flag, face the Exiles with the respect they have earned and tear onto the hallowed sod that bears the name of the great patriot, Seán MacDiarmada, with unity and purpose, like the many generations of great Leitrim men have done before you.

God speed you lads, may the day be yours.

Ah great stuff Boxty. Had a feed of pints there in Mohill but home early to soak up the atmosphere properly in advance of tomorrow. It’s a shame my club men aren’t going to be there but what can you do? Get behind the lads anyway.

They’ve only themselves to blame Farmer and will surely be regretting their few hours of madness come 3.30 this afternoon.

Will they be there cheering on the team do you know…

Minors lost 1-15 to 1-5 in castlebar last evening

Not surprising, Enda Kenny is on a feast of glory, legislating for something numerous governments have run from, asking the common folk if the want to keep a talking shop senate, which they cannot vote for and being more cunning and Machiavellian than Bertie could ever hope to be…

Interesting input there Ebeneezer, how much do think this is going to weigh on the Leitrim lads tomorrow before they tog out? I have them backed, but your making me question myself now…

Why? Im surmising about Mayo?? If Ireland U21 lose do you think Keane, Dunne and McGeady start questioning themselves?
