Leitrim Football 2013

Now RTE radio say it’s a replay

The great GAA tradition of total confusion as to whether it’s extra-time or a replay strikes again.

Very disappointed at the lack of updates from leitrim posters[/quote]
No reception in the park,I don’t know how to feel :frowning: :stuck_out_tongue:

Will it be in London?

Im seething with the two cunts on the line for taking off Kevin conlon when he was about to take the 45 to win the game

Where else would it be

I assume all at the LFTFKSC will be in attendance at Ruislip

Replay in Wembley? The stadium needs matches in fairness.

I hear the replay is in the Hyde next Sunday at 3-40

Confirmed on leitrim gaa twitter

I assumed it would be in london

Very strange. We’ll take that though.

Quite frankly its a disgrace this replay isnt in London.

What about today farmer, darren Sweeney got motm I though bb and Paul Brennan,Colon and paddy McGowan were very good today the rest better improve by next week or we’ll be beat

It is but I see ruislip isn’t capable of holding more than 2500 so its been fixed with a double header of the gal way mayo minor game

Fair point, but Louth couldn’t hold much more either in theory and while Leitrim have big support, it should have been put in London as a way to promote the game a bit more over there. Thats just my opinion on it anyway.

Hyde park maybe!!

Wow that only took 3 hours

No matter how much it holds they should have the option of playing at home they earned it today

I thought Sweeney was our best player Massey. Some great catches, good distribution and two points. He had some wayward shots in the first half granted.

BB Brennan got two lovely points but I don’t think he contributed much in terms of midfield ball winning. McGowan got a nice point as well but looked very tired. Conlon did ok - I like him as a player but I wouldn’t have said he was much better than ok.

Paul Brennan was playing the sweeper role in front of the full back line which I thought was a bit pointless against London. What it served to do was leave one of the London backs free to screen in front of Mulligan which is what they did in the first half. Brennan got a peach of a point in the second half.

When Mulligan we off I thought we were finished to be honest. But we were the better team in the second half. The goals obviously killed us - the first looked like a possible foul on McCrann and I couldn’t really see what happened for the second one as I was at the other side of the pitch. It looked pretty soft though.

What was Ciaran Egan doing taking that last 45? I thought McCrann would come up for it or maybe even Sweeney.

We did well to compose ourselves to get those 2 last points.

Also, the amount of ridiculous high balls pumped into Glancy was unreal. The full back had a few inches on him - we seemed to think we had Declan Maxwell in there.

Presumably Mulligan will be out for next week. If we had him today we would have won - if only for the frees. Now we have it all to do.
