Leitrim Football 2014

Clare up 2.18 to 2.08

5-13 to 0-15

5-15 to 0-16

Has Alan Moloney made any impression since his introduction, Farmer?

Full time 5-16 to 0-16

Ah the game is over Harry. Hard to judge really.

Thatā€™s a fair beating.

It would have been nice to get promoted but it is more important to get some pride back after our annus horriblus in 2013.

I think weā€™ve gone some way to achieve that. A decent showing in the Championship and it wouldnā€™t be a bad year.

Realistically we are in the bottom 8 teams in the country.

Despite the result, Leitrim didnā€™t play too badly today.

Tipp are an excellent side - easily the best Iā€™ve seen this year in Div 4. Theyā€™ll rattle a few of the bigger guns in the summer.

Tipp came here today in the full knowledge that a win secured promotion and it was evident from they took the field. Theyā€™re a mad shower of bastards as evidenced even here, but they were bulling for it while we were all too easily suppressed. We continue to succumb to the idea that we can take balls into tackles and proceed from there, sorry but no. We persisently overcarry before losing possession, fail to release when we should and hence get shit upon.
Hagan is a decent guy, the panel are honest and Mossy is a loss, butā€¦
We need Wayne Mac at 10 or 12 where his ability is more productive. We can cover his defensive departure easily enough with a re-jig involving Alan Wynne.

Shane Moran (Bā€™more) needs to be brought in at m/f and Iā€™d re-deploy Donal Wrynn as the other midfielder. Ciaran Egan can replace Wrynn at 3 but now you have a physical/footballing duo in the middle. In reality weā€™re picking from the bare 20.

Jesus Boxty, you could at least try to hide your bias towards Fenagh and Ballinamore.

I donā€™t think Ciaran Egan is up to it.

Only for tipp got all them goals we might have won, anyway hopefully we can bate them London cunts and end on a positive note, are we all going on Saturday? What are our chances boxty i havenā€™t seen these lads before any future seniors coming through?

I assume that is a pisstake like Barney Breenā€™s ā€˜The goals killed usā€™ versus Armagh last year.

I saw somewhere that barney breen has gone to London to be the coach of some gaa clubā€¦thatā€™s some moveā€¦ uproot everything to go coach a football teamā€¦

Heā€™s more of a hearse than a coach scumpot and the phrase ā€œuprootā€ should have JCB thrown in somewhere such is the girth of the fat cunt.
Weā€™re unlikely ttrouble our neighbours on Saturday Massey, an honourable showing is the best Iā€™m expecting, but again I didnā€™t see us beating Galway

Tir Conell Gaels, he played for them for a number of years in the 80s and his family have strong links there as well. Accoring to last weeks Irish Post his Uncle is a former President of the Club and his wife served as treasurer previously.

Doubt it was a case of him uprooting everything to just coach a football team.

do you think its part of the sky sports deal??..heā€™ll be their anchor?..

Heā€™s heavy enough to be an anchor anyway

Good luck to Leitrim in the u-21 final.

Theyā€™ll have their work cut out against the sheep stealers though.
