I take it back
1-12 to 0-5 behind at half time.
Roscommon will win Connacht this year
Well a 1-18 to 0-13 defeat in the Hyde.
Huge credit to the players for a very spirited 2nd half. After going in 10 points down at half time, the heads could have dropped and it could have been a complete annihilation.
Not sure what to make of Ros. They mixed the sublime with the ridiculous. I suppose we’ll find out more about them on 8th June.
I missed the match today due to work commitments.
Raging.
Seems like we were woeful in the first half but were ‘by far the best team’ in the second half according to a source at the match.
‘It was all Mulligan’ he said as well.
Everything went through him alright Farmer.
Must have scored 7 or 8 points, 3 of which were pure class, especially an outside of the boot effort from out on the terrace sideline into the town goal. Class.
We were hanging in there in the first half until they got 1-3 in the last 3 or 4 mins of the half which fucking killed us.
The second half effort was excellent but we really needed a goal, which never looked like coming.

How did Conor Beirne do? I would say he’s well off the pace.

Kicked a couple of frees and missed a very easy one in first half.
Had what seemed a shoot on sight policy which didn’t pay off for him.
Taken off in second half but it’s good to see him back. The more options we have up front, the better.
I see there was a lad hurling for Leitrim at the weekend by the name of Semaco Moradi

Yeah, he’s got Iraqi blood Chewy.
He’s got a good eye for goal from reading match reports in the Leitrim Observer
FAO @farmerinthecity …Your local man flying in the count center…
Fenagh’s finest also to make a safe return

Heard that.
Logan is going to make it from what I hear. Delighted.
McCrann and Maguire have left the panel
Thats not good
McCrann up to his oxters between getting married and cutting silage for half the county. Maguire/Shane Moran off to USA to graft and kick a bit of ball. Wayne Mac submerged with cattle/silage/small baby (and the odd sneaky few)…It’ll speed up the county championship and hopefully throw up a few for next year while the minors and U-21’s develop. We’ll probably give Down a rattle now that we’re in the departure lounge…Fenagh for the Intermediate anyway.
Ah Christ!

Add Ronan Gallagher, Shane Quinn, Felim McHugh, and John Mulligan to the list.
Leitrim have requested that the match be played on Sunday 29th to avoid a clash with the Connacht minor semi final with the Rossies the day before.
