Any other new lads playin boxty, who played midfield
I’m reliably informed that Mulligan was the stand out performer in Brigid’s league win over Plunketts on Wednesday evening
Fergal Clancy out again, same injury (broken collar bone). Fuck me but this happens every fucking year. Egan is also out long term.
The medical team may have rushed Clancy back too early, but I’d have to bow to @Caomhain’s superior knowledge of these injuries.
Congratulations and best wishes to injured Leitrim player Tomás ‘Mossy’ Beirne and Mairead Stenson on their marriage in St Patrick’s Church Mohill last Friday.
The large contingent retired to the Slieve Russell in Ballyconnell for celebrations that lasted well into Saturday morning by all accounts.

Monday morning to be more precise. Revellers from this shindig were spotted on Sunday en-route homeward from Ballyconnell in a licensed premises between Ballinamore and Mohill.
Tremendous sociability was the order of the day and they were made welcome. Last years reversal at their hands in the IFC was temporarily forgotten. .

Manager Sean Hagan sees no reason why Leitrim can’t upset Roscommon in their Connacht SFC opener on Sunday.
Hot on the heels of their Division Three success and All-Ireland U21 FC final appearance, the Rossies go into the tie as red-hot favourites, but Hagan insists that upsets are always possible in championship football.
“It is a derby game, it’s 70 minutes of football and, in any one-off game, anything can happen,” he points out in The Irish Independent.
"Yes, we have to travel to The Hyde and we’re a Division Four team playing against what is a Division Two team now but you can’t approach it like that.
“This is the Connacht championship and anything can happen in it. We feel we can beat them, why not?”
