Leitrim Football 2018

Today is the 8th year anniversary of Philly McGuinness’s passing.

He was a gent, just like his brothers.

Corofin playing New York in a Challenge next week in prep for the Leitrim game

They are some club. They are new obviously so they have loads of energy!

We played them in the Junior final about six years ago. In fairness they were completely robbed with a wrongly disallowed goal and should have beaten us.

I recall when they emerged on the pitch and left the pitch, the shouts were incredible. Our pathetic counter shouts for Eslin were easily drowned out.

Who’s paying for that?

They’re going in the right direction anyways

“We are training for it and want to represent ourselves well”.

“The Corofin travelling party of 47 will fly out next Thursday and the match against New York will take place that evening in Gaelic Park”

Is it a perk for winning the Club?

They should still bate NY by 20 pts

One point will do

Some knees up for Corofin, good luck to them.

I was talking about corofin

The declared card * for the NY weekend has been announced (See Observer). The Kiltubrid legend is in “The Voice” situation of knowing both sides of the coin.

*Runners and Riders in Dolans and Clarkes and the usual feed of shite from the County Board.

Seen that alright. BBQ on the monday

JP’s s always top shot for the few days after.

An awful shame Clarke’s brother couldn’t make a go out of his more local premises.

Being location opposite Cusack’s noble hostelry was a big drawback.**

**I know you’ll appreciate that one.

Word from a few spies in NY is that we’ll win handy enough
