The cunts inclusion in Croke Park came on the back of omitting Gary Plunkett from the starting 15. Diarmuid McKiernan was similarly shafted. Plunkett has opted out of the county panel for 2020 (Australia) and will be a bigger loss than 5 Mulligans.

I gave a quick glance at the Observer there. Mulligan has an interview/podcast transcript about how he doesnāt see eye to eye with Hyland and he hasnāt received the phonecall to join up with the panel.

Mulligan is done.He hasnāt had the legs for county football for a while. He was a fuckin disgrace against us in the semi final with his carry on.Im surprised no one busted him open.Weve a decent young team who if they stick with it will only get better.I believe staying in Div 3 should be our main aim this year.

A quick recce says weād have to beat the big 3 next summer to win Connacht. A very tall order.
Our target should be retention of D3 status but even thatās a big ask. Louth, Longford and Offaly are beatable and we should target these games.
Iād agree with Farmer that last yearās championship was a shambles.
Dean McGovern will fill in at 14. Big and strong but lacks the pace for further outfield stuff.
Iād see it as vital to start Mark Plunkett at 11, heās a super athlete and has two great feet.
We have the carcase of a team at least, just to put a bit of meat on the frame.
Plenty of good lads for other positions-Maguire, OāRourke, Conor Dolan, Heslin, buckets of heroesā¦

The league will be very interesting this year. Hyland, rightly probably, seems to place a big emphasis on it. Probably as relevant of a test as weāll have this year.
Weāre unlikely to pull up many trees in the championship. Retention of league status should be the priority.
A bit of experience and mental toughness should see us in a better place from 2021 onwards. Weāll win Connacht in 22ā¦
