That was very pleasing. Scoreline was harsh in the end but the most encouraging part for me was they never threw in the towel.
Weāre going in the right direction.

Youāre an awful divil TUM
Kindly note in the āfir ionaidā section here, Pierce Dolan is listed as being SoH.
Itās odd/unlikely that whomsoever compiled the programme would make a gaffe like that.
Anyone hear anything? I didnātā¦
Dean McGovern is either not fit or isnāt in Terryās plans.Ive never been impressed with him to be fair he always takes the easy pass sideways backwards. Has all the attributes to be a very good half forward/back, heās a big strong young lad.I think he needs a bit of coaching.I havenāt heard anything about Pierce @anon67715551,another lad with huge potential. Weāve plenty of lads to fill the 3,6,8,9 11 and 14 spots if we can get them all fit at the same time.Id love to see Paddy being freed up from the back line to play at 6.
Who was marking OāConnor today I wonder? He did drift around quite a lot.
I was wondering the same,he was popping up everywhere,he had a stormer to be fair
Reminds me of McDonald when we played them in Carrick in 2006. Not afraid to roll up his sleeves and drag his team over the line.
Neither of the McGoverns have eraā bit of speed to them, big, strong lads with a bit of football to them but only effective if moving in straight lines. Suited to the catch n kick all day but the problem is nobodyās playing it. Iām becoming more suspicious of our own man, Donal. Heās neither wan thing nor the other. The days of big men at 3 are over, he hasnāt the engine or mobility for midfield for 75 so where next, 14 for the emergency out ball I suppose.
The problem with Donal is they keep moving him about. He fetched some great ball today at MF.Your spot on regarding the McGoverns. If we can get Pearce fit and raring heād make a great partnership with Shane Moran. We could move Donal to 6 then and leave him there.Jack Heslin would make a great 11.Heās some man to run at defences.
Iād imagine that was actually Sean Fox. Heās been unlucky with injuries but along with Sean Flanagan should be available for the next campaign. Two super lads when fit, in saying that Flanagan has an abrasive streak to him. Weāre teeming with forwardsā¦
What age is fox?The Willies did a few shirt swaps before the throw in.
Be about 26 now. A hard nut with plenty ability.
