Leitrim Gaa 2021

I’d day we had this conversation before, what I find about the younger Kelly is that there were far better players playing at that time who won very little but he stuck at it and trained hard and was probably the first name on the sheet most weeks.Donal O Callaghan who played on the Leitrim minor team who won connacht in 98 was the best young footballer in Manor at that time but lost all interest in football. If he had half the interest of Kelly manor could have won even more he was that good.

Another era of Manor dominance is about 4 years away. We’ll need to get one between now and then.

I doubt it.,Manor dominance that is.

Gareth Foley (Gaél na Meilge) ar an feadóg de Dómhnach.

Ballinamore will be glad is not Patrick Guckian after his perceived blunder at the same stage 2 years ago. He was, of course, 100% right.

Mohill are all kitted out in green boots with their initials emblazoned on them*

  • May be mind games perpetrated by SoH supporters.

Is that the small lad that played for Leitrim back around 2000?

Yes

He went off the scene very quickly for the county. He was a decent player.

Handy player, bit small for IC but hard as nails.

I wonder what “Beirnes” he’s looking at…. :face_with_monocle:

I thought that myself!

With regards to the Eslin lads he’s as well idle.

That ship sailed years ago I’m afraid, it’s a pity he would have done well for us

Both of them would have.
