We are indeed. An utter gent, great character and a massive Eslin football supporter. I can’t actually think of a bigger one past or present.
He must be old enough now.
34 later on - July I’d say. Good honest lad who hadn’t a yard of pace.
All them Carrigallen lads are the same, wan paced. Boggy oul’ ground.
The usual oddball selection from Terry. If you’re fit for the subs bench then you’re fit to start in my book. I’d have Dolan and Moran at midfield and Ryan in the corner ahead of Sweeney (but I would say that) …
Bruen is unproven at this level and McGovern is very one-paced.
That said there’s potential there, the forwards have the ability to rack up a total - Quinn needs to avoid disciplinary reactions. We’ll see, they’ve come in from 7/4 to 11/8 such is the volume of trades. Ruby Walsh looks mystified.
We have to win tomorrow, it’s a strange pick but he see them.in training.
It’s a must alright. Antrim scrambled past Louth by a point - we have them at home next week. Going in on the back of a win would be a boost.
Your man Conor Dolan must be close to the starting lineup, we’re swamped with forwards.
Tomorrow’s make or break. Its the best “away” game we could get,I seen us win an FBD there.
Noble venue. I’d have it behind the Hyde in favourite places to go.
It’s a fine spot tbf
FFS Flynn
Super game here in typically blustery NW conditions. Leitrim, favoured by a stiffish breeze lead at half-time by 0-12 to 0-11. We’re down to 14 and now face the breeze for the 2nd 35.
Beirne and Rooney with 4 each, Quinn hasn’t felt the weight of the ball yet, Aidan Flynn red carded for lazy, high tackle, goalie with 2 point blank saves. Outlook - Bleak.
Correct. They’ll do well to get anything out of this. When we play the ball in direct to our forwards we have the beating of most teams, but some of our lads are intent on bottling up the play.Evan Sweeney is a fantastic player but when the ball gets to him he slows everything down.
Evan Sweeney, Keith Beirne and Darragh Rooney is a fine full forward line.
Hopefully we can hold on.
That was a fuckin shambles, another year in Div 4.
McEntee obviously has Sligo well motivated but we should be winning that.
Signing out.
