I wouldn’t think Solan is getting the Bainisteoir bib but possibly being touted as coach to whomever lands the gig. He’d be a big loss in all fairness, you can already see improvements in our lads and the additional 2 years should have brought us a long way. A waiting game now but here’s hoping he stays.

Yeah it’d be great if they stayed for the 3 years.They will surely have an input to the underage structure which will only benefit us in the long run.Sloan has a big decision to make,number 2 to Moran and get a bit of success (promotion, possibly winning the intermediate All Ireland and making us competitive in Connacht) and then go for the top job with Mayo or go in as a coach now.
Just read that there,Bookies seem to think he’s a good chance of getting it.Id be very disappointed if he does leave.

You know yourself - it’s all about the championship. Manor were never a league team. Waiting in the long grass like always. Certs for the last 4. The 4 town teams will joust it out - B’more, Mohill, Carrick and Manor. They have the numbers, pick and tradition. Country lads like ourselves, Gortletteragh and the Willies are only there to fulfil group matches.
