The truth of the matter is our vaunted squad aren’t committed enough to hard graft. Terry Hyland was a bit of a disciplinarian and his style was based on tight defending and hard running. Terry was a bit of a Ferguson figure in many ways which led to general apathy to his dictatorial regime.
Moran is more a Klopp figurehead, all smiles and nice fella guff. We switched off (took breathers) in every game this year simply because there wasn’t enough juice in the tank. We nearly needed golf carts to get up to the penalties in Gaelic Park FFS. There’s problem No.1. It’d make you sick if you thought about it.
Is it an open draw every week again this year?
2 groups of 5, same format as last year. Launching off the BH weekend in August no less. Cat!!!
