Thereâll be nothing easy this evening against the Rossies but weâve shown were as good as any other team in Connacht.We put up a good show against Galway and even though we lost we were well in that game till the last 5 minutes.We bate Mayo well and deserved the 5 PT win. We were by far the better team against a good Sligo team and should have seen it out away from home but ended up with the draw.We are at home tonight and I think we can do it.

Cheers but I got to it in the end. Nah we were 2nd best for a lot of the game, every time we came at them they got back at us straight away, their final v Galway will be a good one.
Great that we are in a B final, no reason they canât repeat the performance of 2 weeks ago but Mayo will be better set up this time around
Galway have to beat Sligo first to make the final.Yeah youâd hope we can beat Mayo in the shield.Itll be in a neutral venue though.Weâd be playing Galway next week if we hadnât thrown away that match last week.

The location is fitting though. Might swing the balance in our favor but as I said, Mayo will be taking nothing for granted this time. You could also argue that Mayo would have no interest in a B competition so time will tell

I was in the Canal End that day myself.Iirc Galway bate Dublin in the minor match.We made a savage start going 2-0 up the the Dubs took over.Seamus Quinn sealed his all star that day.

I was on the Hill. I remember a huge leitrim crowd, Dessie Farrell getting a goal and not much else. Down put manners on us a few weeks later. Charlie Redmond missed another fucking penalty and Johnny Barr pulled a gun (turned out to be a replica) on a bouncer in bad bobs that night.

I was 11 and my folks who also didnât go felt that it wouldnât have been a good idea if I traipsed around with the older siblings in and out of pubs for the weekend,
