Darcy was a brilliant player for Leitrim,

Hard to blame him going back to the county of his birth.

Aughawillan are a serious club undoubtedly but back then they were seriously dirty and had some players who couldn’t kick snow off a rope and were interested only in throwing digs.

Jerome Quinn and Gerry Flanagan for instance.

We could do with a few of them bucks now tbf.

ACFL D1. Sat 19/07/25.

Leitrim Gaels 2-19 Glencar Manor 0-09. Who says quality imports doesn’t improve clubs.

LG are 7/2 to lift the Fenagh Cup. Grab it now before it’s gone. They had 20 subs togged….:anguished:

Poor by Manor.

Barry McNulty not playing?

No. In Chicago for a spell, no doubt be back for the business end……

A very poor league for Manor so far.But we are where we are and for good reason. LG wouldn’t be my favourites for the championship yt but theyre not far off.Carrick and Fenagh for the final.

We’re gone like Msyo - nearly men. We’re no better than previous years and we didn’t do it then. Retaining senior status is the target at the moment.

lots of good games on tomorrow, with (nearly) every team having something to play for in divisions 1 and 2.

The shadow-boxing is over. The serious stuff is just around the corner.

League final fixed for Saturday in HQ. Championship the following weekend.

As sure as there’s shite in a goose we’ll ship 2 or 3 injuries on Saturday and be fucked then.

:grin: ye’ll do te double no doubt

I told you last week that retaining status was and will remain the target.

Ourselves and the Willies are the last actual rural clubs who are senior and the slope gets steeper every season. The 8 club championship, while a great system, can be lethal.

Do any clubs in Leitrim have a bar in their ground?

There is talk of Mohill putting one in.

None that i know of, @Chancer might know better

Be any chance Gordon’s license being the vehicle for this proposal?

The Glebe Street publicans will be aghast at this idea.:scream_cat: Club be open from 10.30am :pint:

Correct.

If it keeps those Mohill fat cats over there then I’m happy with it.

The sharks have them into 2/1 - 7/4. I see a bit of a gamble on Ballinmore to get revenge on Mohill for last year. No Keith Byrne by the sounds of it.
