Not sure if its been discussed here but Iām hearing 3x Jones brothers transferring to Leitrim Gaels because of a big fall out with Derrygonnelly in Fermanagh.
Thatās old news.A couple of them live in Leitrim.

Is one of them Ryan Jones who is involved as a coach with Leitrim seniors?
He was a pharmacist in Mohill previously and I believe is now in Drumshanbo which would explain the Leitrim Gaels link.

Just back from Ennis.Well beaten by Clare in the end as Clareās strength and power eventually seen them puch a few holes in the Leitrim defence for 2 soft enough goals.Our managers tactics are fuckin stupid.Win the ball at midfield and then just run into one of the corners until you canāt go any further then turn around and faff about with the ball till you lose it and get turned over.Rinse and repeat.We didnāt kick one ball into our forwards all day,not one.Its a long time since we only scored 10 PTS in any match.Poacher seems to be intent on possession,which is fine but you need to get scores off that, weāre not.
We actually dominated midfield for about 50 mins but got nothing in return.Big Barry and Keegan were excellent but really need to let the ball in sooner to the forwards when theyāre in there one on one.

Apart from McNulty ye had a distinct lack of lads willing to take on a shot, whether thatās by instruction or not. When you concede a few two-pointers at the other end it makes it very hard to get back into a game.

Yeah he was the only one willing to have a pop, although tbf Clare defended well but we made it easy for them just running into dead ends.
Clare have consistently operated at a higher level the last 10 or so years, they were never going to be troubled for long by a younger more naive Leitrim outfit. Will we fare much better against Laois?

I read on the Observer today that the current panel is missing 14 players from the panel involved in the Division 3 final last year.
I always knew we had a problem with continuity but fucking hell!
There isnāt a county panel in Ireland with that kind of turnover.We could well lose every match this year.The future is bright though.We have been winning loads of stuff underage for the last couple of years,we also have a decent minor and U20 teams.The combined school A team made the semi final after winning two good games in the group.St Clareās Comprehensive are in the Connacht C final.Manor made the Connacht Club Minor final after beating the Roscommon and Sligo champions and only lost by 4 to Oranmore after playing 3 games in 7 days.We are producing plenty of good young footballers but we seem to have a big drop off from underage into the senior ranks for numerous reasons

Laois lost 12. Itās the battle of the two most obviously Division 4 teams who arenāt in Division 4.
Unfortunately 2 go down. Most likely both of us.
Iād say itās guaranteed. Iām dreading the trip to Newbridge. Kildare are flying and we enjoyed last year a little too much. But go we must.
We have them at home.We might keep it to 20 PTS 
McNulty Honeyman Prior and Paul Moran all in the sigerson final.That must be a record for us.
