Leitrim Gaa 2025

Thats a foul alright

If I had any influence with the panel of referees I’d like to see 4 penalties per game awarded against them. Every game… Their brand of football is an abomination. They could keep possession for 5 minutes without crossing the halfway line.

God help you if you were sitting anywhere between the two 21 yd lines - you’d see fuck all between their 25 subs and assorted water carriers buckleppin like children…

Manor’s ability to get a late goal is well known…We have the opportunity to soften their coughs next…

Hes talking about Carrick btw

I know. While no lover of Manor (1999) at least they try to play positive football. Mary’s are a stain on the game but I’d luv it (think Kevin Keegan) luv it if we could turn them over at the weekend.

Id fairly luv it luv too if ye could, then hope they get drawn away to Mohill the week after

It’s now at the point where retaining status takes priority over everything else. We’ve 3 points from 2 games and you’d feel that another point or two would keep us out of the relegation fight. It’s all matterless in any event - it’s between the big 4 town teams and the Foreign Legion with the 2 country teams fighting for their very survival…

Fenagh’s to lose.

Not firing at all for reasons unknown. Making selectorial decisions to plug gaps is never a good look. Loads of changes over the past weeks in every key position (3,6,8,9,11 and 14) are being driven by form dips, injuries and forced experimental choices. Far from settled.

After their great win the opening day and despite a sickening reversal against SoH you’d fancy Manor to turn over the Willies and get to the last 4 at the minimum. Their vaunted crop of young lads are being given their heads and in Barry Mac they have the best player in the county.

I see Keith Beirne kicked 1-08 off the bench in Mohill’s defeat to Leitrim Gaels.

Still got it obviously.

Would you say Ryan is finished with the county?

We could really do with him.

Good to see him back.Ryan too.

As my father said once, he’d want to have it in the feet, because he’ll never have it in the head.

Difficult one to call. The lay-off was supposed to resolve the issue but it hasn’t fully. A block of serious Poacher type training is a step too far I’m thinking. Time will tell.

A Leitrim panel member, not from Ryan’s club, mentioned that he is a bit of a Daniel Sturridge type and a lot of his injuries are exasperated due to a mental situation. Most probably bullshit.

Any chance Poacher will get to pick from a full deck this year ? Im not a huge fan of him or his style of play but he looks like hes going nowhere so youd hope everyone makes themselves available.Lst year he got a pass,he wont get one this year.If we are to get out of Div 4 we bafly need Darragh Rooney back.Hes definitely one of our best players along with Pearse.

Two huge additions they would be.

Dolan in particular at centre field.
