FBD first up.
The plate final beckons. Cue celebrations. What a crock !!!
What a rubbish draw for us
but 3 games is better than 1. If the plate final is our lot we have no excuses
I drove by a Glencar-Manorhamilton pitch in Boggaun yesterday - I presume you are only sent out there as some form of punishment? It has to be one of the loneliest locations for a pitch in Ireland, there is hardly a sign of a house anywhere near it.
A bit far out tbf.The problem with the Bee Park is that it belongs to the community not the GAA so not much room for developing. Lots of space out there for development whenever they get the money together.Theyre raking money in with the online lotto apparently.
Granted it’s a bit bleak this time of year but they’re lurking behind the clumps of rushes in the way others mention the long grass.
You’ll never get anything handy below in Boggaun.
I’d well believe it, a spot where only the midges would hear your cries. Fair play to the club anyway they seem to be putting up a fine building there.
They’re a serious club and have in Barry McNulty the best prospect we’ve had in the county in a generation. He’s not alone either, they have pucks of good young lads. They’ll be around forever……
The new problem - forwards but no backs. Reasonable from 8-15 but as porous as a sieve from 1-7. At least he’s finally moved Diffley to where he can create a bit, he was never 3. We’ll register the usual 12 scores.
Looks like hes giving a lot of lads a run.I see his mate is startin in goals.Good to see Mcgloin back.
We’re missing a few - primarily Big Barry but I suppose we’ll have to trust the process.
Seeing lads from clubs below senior isn’t exactly inspiring.
Theres surely a few intermediate lads who should be well able for senior if they put in the work.Barry is playing Sigerson again this year so we dont need to dog him.We know what he can do.
Getting a bit of a trimming in the FBD match.Getting cleaned out at midfield and our defenders dont seem to now how to defend. That Honeyman buck is useless.Only bright spark is Tom Prior and Jack Kelly.
Christ
Prepare yourself for a grim few months. A few meaningless wins in the league may rekindle enthusiasm but trust me - it’s an illusion. We were never as poor.
team announced for Sunday, interesting to see conor Reynolds back, must be the oldest on the panel bar James Rooney?
My Trim contacts were telling me that they were trying to get him to play for them - he is based up there.
I am not sure if that ever happened - did he leave Annaduff?
