Equally comfortable of either foot - like the Swiss flag - a big plus.

A shame to let that cunt Poacher near young talent.

Antrim seem to have really regressed this year.

0 points from 3 matches.

Well beaten today at home to Longford.

Their manager came from Slaughtneil into the job - Mark Doran.

We have them next week in Carrick. An awful pity we didnt get something from our match v Wicklow

Jack Duggan (post 115 here) came on today for Roscommon. In the dying moments Enda Smith drilled a ball into space at the town end goal and the bould Jack picked it clane off the ground before escaping the clutches of the defender and setting up Carey for their 3rd goal.

Breeding

We’re still in the mix and as long as we can keep Barry fit then we’ll be hard stopped I think.

It’s like looking at his father with the loping stride…

He’s a fair bit taller I’d wager.

Might be an inch or two in it but no more.

Surprised at that, thought their few years in div3 would stand them well but seems not.
Definitely makes us rue the Wicklow result as Carlow will be hard stopped. Everyone else is at our level or below

Carlow are out the blocks early, were fully loaded going after the O’Byrne Shield. Expect them to drop off over the coming weeks.

I like the sound of that, whos over them these days?

The great Joe Murphy, of Eire Og fame. He’s no daw, but generally teams who hit the ground running experience a levelling off roundabout R4 of the league.

Your correct about the result in Wickla, even a draw would have done us.Still all to play for though, that result yesterday should be a huge boost for the young lads.Dissapointed with McGloin,id have expected more from him hes a experienced player and should be leading the line. Was he injured or was it just tactical

We play them in the final game of the series in DCP. They theoretically could be promoted by then and have the foot off the gas pending a Croke Park appearance. We, on the other hand, will probably be hoping results go our way should we win.

The unbridled joys of D4 football - even getting 0 points ensures safety…

Was he took off or what?
