I see how people sell to the forestry as farmers can’t compete with their prices.North Leitrim is destroyed with Sika spruce.Its affects the county so badly population wise etc,the town’s will be the only thing left shortly.Being designated a National park is the only thing that will stop these cunts planting the whole county.

I agree completely.

We were selling a house too so it was difficult to get offers other than the forestry who agreed to take the whole lot. A nightmare to deal with as well. It really was a last resort. Farmer now in the scene is actually paying less but we are going with it.

I know of an arsehole from Aughavas direction originally who is Dublin based as is buying land around North Leitrim for planting.

The missus is heading to the black lion place tomorrow from Limerick. Looking for a pit stop for a decent bit of grub around Leitrim somewhere. That won’t be out of the way from the road

Why would she be going to Drumshambo,is she going from Limerick?If so take the motorway to tuam then stay on the road to Sligo.Take the N16 to Belfast which will pass through Blacklion.

Sat Nav is bringing them through Drumshambo not a part of the World I’d know. It’s saying Tuam, Boyle, Drumshambo

I was told by someone that the food is great but portions are small. I like my food but that fact that there is a long waiting list for a reservation and I might have to stop in the chipper on the way home is a blocker for me ever going there. Nothing wrong with Cryans in Carrick or Cox’s of Dromod, better value and closer to home

You get about 14 course’s,no matter how big a roaster you are you’d be stuffed after that.

Positive review was given.

Nothing against the owner of the place but the clientele are very rough.

@boxtyeater would have been a fan of the place back in the day.
