Leo Varadkar

Labour are fucking cat altogether, a party full of people who have no idea what the party stands for

Why would I?

Kelly’s genius plan is to go completely populist and try to absorb the competition.

Just because we want them to pay their fair share of tax the cap doffers think we’re anti MNC. Indigenous SMEs getting fleeced with exorbitant insurance and rates while we’re handing out millions in grants to billion dollar companies.

I love the bit in the below article where they say oh shure every country does it. Not every country has a 0% Corporation Tax rate though

Do you per chance work for one of these mncs mike?

Nope.

They’re a long way from 2011 now.

Mary Lou will be Alan Kelly’s new uber lord after the next election anyway. Sf will swallow them up.

I may have missed your answer earlier but what in your opinion is “their fair share of tax” ?

No , he got clamped on the tax thing. We’ve now moved on to smes getting fleeced with insurance costs and the ida providing Grant’s to mncs. Hod I didn’t know that smes weren’t getting any grants

Best they can hope for is a few seats which might be needed to form a SF led government.

More than the 0% they fought to maintain in European courts.

If you’re referring to Apple, they sought to ‘maintain’ nothing as the case related to activity from ten years prior. If you are referring to paying nothing, you mean paying nothing in Europe in a given year due to a complex structure and deferring an amount that is ultimately payable but to Uncle Sam.

The MNC overlords of lads posting here must peruse the site regularly.

What are the odds you’d be on about Apple :joy:

I thought you were giving out about the wider MNC sector which as I showed pay about 10-15% of total tax take.

You approve of state enabled corporate tax evasion. That’s fine. I don’t. It’s immoral especially when you consider the ‘look over there’ trick that works on dullards every single time.

Here - you seem extremely keen to dodge a simple question and go off on tangents.

I’ve given you numbers as to how much tax MNCs currently pay in a Ireland. You have repeatedly said you believe they don’t pay a fair amount.

For the third time - what do you think is a fair amount?

You got your answer. More than zero :man_shrugging:

Could we just go one or two per cent below what other countries with a similarly attractive workforce do?

The FFG militia are rigidly sticking to the hymn sheet (so to speak)
