Did Modi get the fucking stadium named after himself
It was formerly the Sardar Patel Stadium. Had a capacity of around 40,000. It was demolished about 7-8 years ago and rebuilt. Modi is from Gujarat, from just outside Ahmedabad.

Modi was also chairman of the Gujarati Cricket Board for some years.
He’d be a well known aficionado of the game.
