Why do you object to an anti-Nazi song?
Is it because you’re supporting a Nazi invasion of Ukraine at the moment?
Don’t you sing songs about “England you’re a monster” and wanting Nacho Novo to die in his sleep?
While supporting a club affiliated with the British Armed Forces?
You seem very mixed up.
Old one but a great one…
It’ll be difficult but it’s not impossible for them to turn it around next week. They’ve sold Bassey and used some of the proceeds for Davies, the Turkish chap, the Welsh winger and the new striker. I suspect this is the group of players they’ll be using to try to qualify for the group stages but they might to need to sell a key player like Kent by the end of August if they get beaten. That was a very harsh penalty against them tonight but quite amusing obviously.
I’d unfortunately expect them to turn that over quite comfortably.
James Tavernier and Steve Davis are some stalwarts for the Teddy Bears. Trademark resilience by the two to combine to create a lovely equaliser for new signing Antonio Colak so soon after going behind against PSV.
Tavernier has had a great career considering Anthony Stokes made him look like a postman in that Scottish Cup Final for Hibs
Lovely
Think the huns are lining up to offload Morelos.
Boyd was talking him up on Sky last week but at the weekend he was saying he’s too much of a problem and they should get rid of him. He doesn’t tend to stray far from the party line at Ibrox.
Now he’s been left out of the squad for the second leg against PSV. A hugely important match and he’s been omitted because of “fitness and attitude concerns.”
Where is Rikisihi off to?
You’d have to be off your head to go near him
I thought it was a given he’d be off this summer, as he’s out of contract in a year and they’ve already signed yer man Colak as his replacement. I also see they left Glen Kamara out last weekend and he might be leaving. I speculated before that getting the CL spot (or not) might be the difference in them having to sell the likes of Kent or Kamara but who knows? The technical director chap Wilson seems fairly clued in and they probably have some contingency plans depending on whether it’s EL or CL for them. I missed them picking up Tom Lawrence on a free, which seems like a decent signing.
I think Wilson is overrated. He seems to have decent contacts alright but they fucked up the January window with Ramsey and Diallo who didn’t work out at all and were short term solutions to problems that ended up costing them.
They then ended up re-signing the likes of Davis and McGregor after earlier seemingly trying to move on.
I think Colak is a journeyman and well below the level of a fit Morelos. Davies and Souttar both arrived with injury records and they both appear to have undetermined injuries already. Not sure what the story is with the highly rated Turkish lad they signed too.
Fair points. I think Wilson had done some good business but you’re actually agreeing with me (cc Kev) re Ramsey and Diallo. I made the point at the time they were trophy type signings instead of lower profile ones that actually fit their style/requirements. And it would be great if that shoddiness has now segued into this season. Your more recent examples suggest that it might have, although I maintain that Lawrence is a decent player.
