Let's All Laugh At Sevco Thread

Did Murray load rangers with debt and withdraw money for himself then?

Murray hasn’t got a leg to stand on

He used Rangers for an EBT for himself but wouldn’t have been that big. He really used Rangers as a prestige vehicle for himself, along with sponsoring the SRU, to ingratiate himself with certain people there. He loaded them with debt in the late 90s and into the 2000s keeping The People happy then walked when the EBT Case and his wider group were under threat. He was an Ayr United, basketball and rugby fan who just wanted to be loved by the masses.

Sevco leaked that they were signing a Brighton back up Jamie Murphy for 1 million plus. Their fans lap it up as he’s a true Ranger and it shows they have cash.

Now it seems as though Brighton figured out Sevco don’t have a pot to piss in and demanded money up front, and not in staged payments.

Meanwhile they seem to be offloading players as much as possible.

How long until they go into administration?

How does a fella called Murphy from Glasgow end up supporting the Huns

There’s lots of mixed marriages in Glasgow. Most of them are only part time bigots.

Oddschecker suspended betting on them being relegated as a flood of bets game in after a rumour went around that they would go into voluntary administration next week.

How do oddschecker suspend betting on anything

Oooft

I’ve no idea, I’m not a degenerate

To correct this inaccuracy. Oddschecker reported that the odds on Rangers finishing bottom of the SPL as of yesterday morning were 5000/1 and a number of bookies cut this to 500/1. A couple of hours later betting was suspended on this in a number of large chains due to an unusually high number (reportedly just 64) bets taken on them finishing bottom.

How’d this work out the last time for that fella who went to court?

The most memorable bit of that saga was some lad with a funny name who was a crime reporter in Scotland got thousands of followers on Twitter for his live reporting

Strachan on signing Scott Brown. “I used the magic words on Peter Lawwell - Rangers want to sign him. There was a real panic then because didn’t know it at the time but Govan was a tax haven!”

Steven Gerrard is now the short-priced favourite to become the next Rangers manager. The Liverpool legend is just 1/2 in places to take over at Ibrox.
