Not really.
Their budget dwarfs everyone else in the league apart from Celtic.
They played brickies and elecritricians all the way up to the Scottish Championship.
Despite the fact that the new club started debt free and had a share issue that raised 25m pounds, they are about 20m in debt at least. That debt is largely to directors as a reputable bank won’t give them normal credit. They did manage to finally get a loan this year- from an intermediary specialising in distressed company finance and had to put up significant assets as security to do so.
Their Chairman is a convicted criminal who was described as a liar in a court of law.
On the field they have managed to run through 3 managers per year in 3 of the past 4 years. They are an utter shitshow.
I mean that isn’t even the half of it, they are an utter mess.

What are the respective budgets of Glasgow Celtic and Glasgow Rangers?
I believe Celtic are spending double per squad member on wages.
Rangers have outspent them in transfers in the last couple of years.
Celtic are a profitable company with 30 odd million in the bank though.

Aberdeen less than half and Hibs are a quarter. They are threatening to leave them in 4th place.
And as a FYI, the Aberdeen manager (a Rangers man) jilted Rangers a few months ago. There is a reason for that.
It’s worth noting that Celtic player pay is strongly performance linked and reflects Champions League group stage qualification etc. The base salaries would be far less than the total outlay.

I hope they give Gerrard a lot of money to spend just because I know he’ll waste it and win nothing. Gerrard was always mentally weak, remember the slip.
In the long run Lewis is bad news.
