I think Liam and Noel’s solo stuff is mediocre at very best in comparison to their work at Oasis. Noel needs an enigmatic frontman for his music and Liam needs a decent lyricist and guitarist. I’ve found myself buying into their relentless but snakey hyping of a reunion to pay Noel’s divorce bill and I’m genuinely excited for it, afters years of not listening to Oasis music, after being a diehard in the britpop years. Bring it on.
Definitely Maybe tour next year.
