I am still waiting for your congratulatory WhatsApp

Don’t bother with the wumming here, you might have been a great lawyer but you make a poor wum

I have that other thing.
A congratulatory WhatsApp?
Congratulations on the doping programme, and having the luck to avoid Galway.

The Dublin footballers could have beaten Galway this year. It was Galway who avoided Limerick. Shano did a super job but he did not have the material. Too old

:joy: :joy:

I met the one/wan chap I knew from that four-ball the other day, first time since that day I took the money from you. He said I had a lovely tempo to my swing…

Played wan won wan. Kiley was like a toddler afterwards. Big purple headed temper tantrum.

The crowd noise and occasion blamed @Locke

The reality, as regards bare fact, is that Limerick need to win four in a row or six in seven. Personally, I would consider 2018 plus 2020-23, if this roster happens, as the equal of what Kilkenny achieved between 2006 and 2012, when a significant amount of 2006’s personnel were still there in 2012. Limerick will probably win in 2022. So they could end up a serious 2023 campaign away from being the joint greatest team of all time. If 2024 saw Limerick do five in a row, they would unquestionably be the greatest team of all time.

From a Limerick perspective it feels mad to be even thinking about that.

That’s fair enough anyone comparing LK to that KK team are getting carried away until more silverware is achieved. What is open for debate is which was better the performance last Sunday or KK in the 08 final. Very hard to call in my view.

Well, ye are now entitled to think about this roster. Four in a row is certainly doable. And good luck to ye if ye do manage it.

But so much can happen and not everything is controllable. Kilkenny would have done five in a row but for a couple of injuries and resultant temporary madness. That caveat entered, Limerick look to have the situation with ‘prehab’ off to tee.

ah yeah - I gave him a 6 shot head start too because I fell hook line and sinker for the Kilkenny poor mouth.

I’m in Cork too long.

Also, I’ll not take lecturing in excuses or all Ireland winning decorum from a Galway man, thank you

The Kilkenny performance, overall, was a bit tidier. But Limerick’s second quarter performance certainly hit the heights every bit as much as Kilkenny did at any point in 2008.

A facet not really noted by anyone: there were no water breaks in 2008, no quartering of the game, which makes any comparison of 2008 AIF and 2021 AIF even harder to carry off.

We were brutal in the second half. Game was over though at that stage.

Disappointing to see tbe bullying of @flattythehurdler here. A genuinely decent sort and doesn’t deserve this sort of carryon.

He should keep his nose out of it so.

More of it again. Very distasteful

You’re absolutely correct, but what do expect from a pig only a grunt?

Shano did what JP told him, and slowly took the fire from Galway.
