Well done to Limerick on annexing another All-Ireland. They’re a superbly organised outfit where everyone seems to know what to do when in/without possession, physically imposing etc. There’s a bit of an edge to them, nothing nasty, just the occasional awkward movement that seem to end up in their favour, fine by me, it’s a man’s game but similar to the Dubs, there’ll be cries about conditioning/funding/professionalism over the next 5 years.

What a wonderful win. Completely dominant today and by a distance the best team in the country. First team since 61 to win every competitive match in a year.

The frightening thing is you sense there is even more to come.

A completely difference experience to 2018 but it’s still incredibly satisfying.

And most importantly no matter what happens from now on we’ll be remembered in 50 years time as a great team. This bunch deserve that. 2 all Ireland’s and plenty of other medals to go with it.

Well done to all concerned and I hope every limerick supporter enjoys the next few days and weeks…

Just as an aside and no fault to the man, but was Graeme Mulcahy ever as inconspicuous as he was today. Maybe he was carrying a knock or something. It should be remembered that when the game was in the melting pot 2 years ago he hit a purple patch, rifling over 3 or 4 when the need was greatest in the space of 15 minutes.
