Limerick GAA 2022 - Dual Kings (Part 1)

Limerick have change the game of hurling completely. The day of the likes of totts and podge collins winning all Irelands is gone .

Did Barry Murphy play much after his goal in 2018? Jesus that was a great moment and seems like 20 years ago.

Was Willie OMeara on the 2018 panel?

Tots never played championship hurling

He was on the 36, not the match day panel.

Like lorcan lyons and la touche

Would you rate them higher than
Walsh Hogan Delaney
Larkin Power Shefflin

Not now, no… In 5/6 years time maybe. Don’t think anyone will ever surpass that GOAT KK team.

I wasn’t asking you, pal. I was asking someone who knows the game of hurling.

Only time will tell Fagan. In the words of iarann road eireann, they’re not there yet.

I told you regardless… I’d be good like that.

True. But I’m unsure thats a good thing.

Would be quite silly to rate them higher than them now I think.

All great teams of the last 30 years have been driven from the half back line, I wouldn’t rate the current limerick 5-7 far ahead of any of them

It’s amazing the nucleus of players Limerick have between the ages of 24-26. Likes or Ronan Lynch, La Touché Cosgrave etc. were some of the stars on those minor teams weren’t they? In hindsight it’s staggering to think that an average Tipp beat them in U21 in 2016.

Take a while to clear your head after @Fagan_ODowd KO’ed you. The spelling and grammar are breaking down.
