According to Twitter South L 1 4 killmallock 2
1-5 to 5. Kilmallock against a gale
Ken Byrnes goal, set up by Barry Nash. Nash excellent so far. Fair wind alright.
Goal davey OâNeill Barry Nash again made it
Second goal for Byrnes, again set up by Nash.
Effin 2-13 Knockaderry 0-09. FT.
A good summation. JP Kiely was a joke. Match down for 12 throw in and he still sitting in his car at 12.10 eating sandwiches and drinking tae. The umpiring was like something out of an episode out of Fr Ted. They hadnât a scooby. Even when it was a score, it took them an eternity to put up a white flag. The ball would be pucked out and gone to the other end before they managed to raise it. Farcical.
Grass way too long on pitch. Not at all conducive to hurling. I know we canât expect the ball to zip off the turf in October, but one would expect it to be the appropriate length. When players from both teams have difficulty rising the ball you know itâs the grass.
Nap had more than enough chances to win this game. Missed a plethora of frees and had 3 close in frees near the end, only one which they goal from. It takes a good effort to beat David Lynch in fairness.
Croagh just more clinical when it came to taking chances but discipline let us down often, Kiely moved Nap frees on ten yards about five or six times. It could have been the undoing of C/K if Nap had been a little more accurate.
Can only follow on Twitter but it looks like Klimallock have responded well
Barry Nash is causing havoc, other than that theyâre miles ahead
Youâd have to fancy Kilmallock from here. Only 2 down with the wind to come and not having played well. Liberties will need at least another 2 goals I would think, although Nash is in form.
Cappamore beating NCW by 10 at HT apparently, big shock.
Anyone know the result in Bruree - Pallasgreen quarter?
Bruree 1-16 Pallasgreen 1-10 apparently.
The kilmallock full back line is poor enough if they can get it in. Conor McSweeney needs to use the ball. Running the ball with a gale at your back and losing it is criminal
The Big 4 still left standing.
Effin (strong favourites now to win it out), Bruree, Croagh/Kilfinny and G/B.
G/B and Bruree met in the group, they might keep them apart in the draw
Both semi finals down for decision next weekend. Box Office.
Goal barry Nash
What a player Nasher is, what a goal.
5 from play for Oisin OâReilly.
He is a class act.
Another goal. Unreal.
