Maybe it’s been mentioned already, couldn’t be bothered reading back.

Tom Rea, brother of Ned Rea has passed away. Tom and Jerry Rea both stalwarts of my former GAA club in London, Brothers Pearse.

RIP Tom.

Tom few moths for the Rea family

RIP

Ciaran O’Connor, the Kilmallock 6, looks a rolls royce of a player on the handful of times I’ve seen him play.

Are you not from Preston or some such place?

Was he the brother that marked Ned in the 73 final?

Semi final

I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a very inexperienced team, relatively, next Friday. In all honesty, the standard of Kerry-Tipp wasn’t spectacular and, although Kiely normally beds in newcomers with more experienced players, it might be different for the Munster League.

Wouldn’t mind seeing POD & English getting a game.

We’ll need to tie down our marauding loanees

I wonder is it worth naming the potential starting 15?

If we pick up injuries, covid etc we’ll have to recall them from their loan spell as an emergency.

Job done today.

For old time’s sake :joy:

Gillane (?)
Boylan English Nash
Quinlan Connolly Coughlan
O’Grady Duff
Boylan Reidy O’Neill
DOC English POD

Presuming Gillane isn’t gone because I haven’t heard of a replacement and without Hennessy, that’d be only one goalkeeper training. You have to have three keepers like.

Fairly sure I heard on the grapevine over Christmas that Jason Gillane is dropped.

:joy:

That is still a fine team to be fair @Aristotle

English and Patrick O’Donovan inside would be dangerous and potentially deadly.

You’re in a bad way with one keeper and three goalkeeper coaches :joy:

Minor the year Tipp beat them in AI Final

Same as King Kyle

While not part of his goalkeeping, Gillane gave one of the most economical displays of striking at a crucial point this year. Also his brother being who he is, and irreplaceable, hope they aren’t overcomplicating things.

No. Ned and Eamonn i think
