I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a very inexperienced team, relatively, next Friday. In all honesty, the standard of Kerry-Tipp wasn’t spectacular and, although Kiely normally beds in newcomers with more experienced players, it might be different for the Munster League.

Wouldn’t mind seeing POD & English getting a game.

Presuming Gillane isn’t gone because I haven’t heard of a replacement and without Hennessy, that’d be only one goalkeeper training. You have to have three keepers like.

While not part of his goalkeeping, Gillane gave one of the most economical displays of striking at a crucial point this year. Also his brother being who he is, and irreplaceable, hope they aren’t overcomplicating things.

I’m not sure when Peter Casey will be back but that last space on the limerick team looks to be up for grabs again.

Adam English could have a chance of making a quick break through. Hard to see Graeme nailing down a spot again.

I’d expect CON to set it alight this year. People are sleeping on him just because English was excellent last year. CON has that extra year training with Kiely and co
