Well done to the Wexicans, if it was going to be any team to end us Iām glad it was ye.
It was great while it lasted. Iād like to sincerely apologise to anyone whose nose I rubbed in it over the last 4 years. I will return to picking Limerick starting 15s for Championship in the last week of December and hoping against hope for the win

Being brought down to earth today in the first round of the league is no harm really.
Wexford were dogged and worked extremely hard as you would expect in Wexford park. Would expect Limerick to be sharper at home next Saturday night against Galway.
