Hegarty and Tom Morrissey were sensational lads,
Full backline very solid, was worried a bit when Finn got an early yellow card, but he literally drove on after that. Immense.
Commiserations to Galway, unreal team - Canning was going to win the game himself from sidelines alone.
Hope heās alright, shame to see him go off like that.
Roll on the 13th December. This Limerick team are absolutely incredible.

Galway did a great job limiting Lynch, Donovan, Hannon and Will the pressure in the middle third on the man was ferocious.
Any time Limerick played in to out and hit the runners they scored at will though
Persisting with the extra back was a strange call
Gillane was very quiet.
The whole full forward line were starved with the sweeper really

Positives:
Winning after taking 10-15 minutes to get to the pitch of the game and with talismen like Mulcahy, Hannon and Lynch (first half) not featuring prominently
Tom Morrissey coming up clutch again
Full back line looking secure
Putting up a winning score in Croke Park again despite few scorable frees
Negatives
Failing to put away goal chances with the habitual failing of going too high
Hegarty, despite immense contributions on the ball, seems to my eye to be giving away 3-5 scorable frees a game with overly aggressive tackling
A general lack of discipline in tackling a worry when facing a running team like Waterford

Tbf he was the sacrificial lamb for Condonās idiocy to bring in Richie Mac and we actually missed him hugely for his work rate.
