We didn’t name many dummy teams until cork last year from what I recall but maybe it’s more a reflection of the fitness of players and doubts over them until last minute.

Journalists - Martin Brehony and co - moaning about dummy teams etc grates. Complaining over the lack of a press night from any of the 4 teams before the semi final is their last whinge.

Whelo to track Hego it’s their only chance
Hegarty and Kyle were immense last year in the final in the half forward line.
Seems so strange to play them both in the half back line.
We haven’t seen lynch at his best arguably since the cork final in 2021. It’s a huge task for him on Saturday but he has the ability obviously.
I couldn’t see us losing to Clare under any circumstances before the game and it was fairly clear how the game would unfold.
I think we’ll be under a lot pressure on Saturday to get a result. I don’t like the look of the side picked but hopefully I’m all wrong.
