Limerick GAA 2023-2024.... 5 in a row is not here

Off the bench, he’s prob NA Piarsaighs 8th best player.

Played a bit. Not a regular. Not sure if he’s around at the moment.

Hes lastest longer on the panel than a lot of hurlers that were better than him.

Its not all about ability

Maybe so.

Has never been effective as a starter, basically a battering ram as a finisher.

Has definitely made the most of his limited technical ability.

Boylan has bounced back well to be fair after he lashed out at Shane McGuigan of Slaughtneil that time and saw red.

Harsh on Mark Kehoe.

What happened fairbrother? He looked a real prospect that day

Brilliant free taker and still a decent club forward.

He’s short on a number of qualities to make it, he’s fast but not rapid, he’s very short and also one sided.

Not really, probably has played 4 good games in his Tipperary career. Still has the potential and will get more chances as Tipp have no one else.

You’d have to say Kyle Hayes has really kicked on since 2016. Outstanding performance as a 19 year old in the 2018 All Ireland final.

4 All Ireland senior medals. 5 Munster senior medals. 3 national League medals.

Not bad going for a young man who just turned 25 years of age this summer.

I’d agree. He’s a phenomenal player.

Also on obvious things to add, tomorrow is Saturday.

Won an ai 21 in 17, ai in 18, 20, 21, 22 and made another ai in 23.

K/P up to senior a in that timeframe.

That is some body of work.

That was some performance that day, Boylan and Grimes got deserved red cards but once the Dow came on on one leg and scored a wordly there was only going to be one winner. RL have an exhibition the same day on long range free taking.

Was that the day the ref basically let slaughtniel assault nap players ?

There was plenty of it alright but can’t recall anything too bad they did

I’d have huge respect for lads like Hayes who do it in their club jersey also.

It was bad enough to draw that out of boylan

Hes a force of nature, play him backs or forwards, he’s got too much in his armoury

McGuigan is an unbelievable footballer but is a King of the Shithousery in Hurling.

Slaughtneil did play him midfield last year and he hurled a bit instead of timbering lads corner/wing back.

Im sure boylan learned from it. Every young lad needs to exposed to it
