Just going on what I saw of H/H last year, they might not have much genuine quality, but what they do have is heart. We were 7-8 points a better team than them last September in the group stage, but they kept coming back at us. C/K won by 4 in the end but H/H were plucky little hoors.
What did CON actually score?
Brennan at full-forward for Caherline?
What is the trials issue?
Who stood out for ye on Friday? A fine start to the year.
I know Liberties were very short, how did Nasher go?
Libs are short the old-timers and some mid-20s. They don’t have much depth
It was over at half time.
Barry Duff was very good in midfield and capped it off with two good goals in the second half. The successful FF line of two years ago was restored and stretched the FB line. A solid performance otherwise with bigger tests to come.
Nash played 6 but had too much to do.
I never knew Croom played in the West Division until they moved to South board in 1956. Won quite a few West Senior titles too. I knew that Castletown/Ballyagran had moved in same direction around the same time.
Nothing from play. Only frees scored.
Had a solid game though winning 5 frees I think.
Ref probably a bit harsh in 2nd half to not play 6 or 7 mins injury time. Played 5 full mins injury time in 1st half which really wasn’t warranted beyond a blood sub which took a while.

So many matches on the Friday night again. All intermediate Group 1 on at the same time.
Is there a break, after next weekend, for hurling? ie football on the weekend of August 18th and 19th?
Tough for Prem intermediate sides out three weeks in a row.
Two weeks of football after this, I think, then two weeks of hurling again.
I see there’s a Junior C Hurling Championship after being set up. Is that the first time it’s been ran in Limerick?
Na Piarsaigh and Ballybrown each fielding 4 adult teams is fair going.
First time I can remember anyway.
Ballybrown only have 3 teams though, their second team is Junior B now.
It was basically setup to accommodate Ballybrown after last years debacle?
Pretty sure it is the first run off of a Junior C hurling championship. Na Piarsaigh are fielding 4 adult teams alright.
Ballybrown aren’t, they just have their first team and a Junior B and C team.
Na Pairsaigh have more players than supporters.
Ah yes, I forgotten they’d been relegated from Junior A last year.
Easily the worst supported club in Limerick.
In hurling from my experience, some really well supported clubs are KP, Glenroe, Kilmallock, along with a host of Westies.
In football, probably Casey’s, NCW and Ballylanders
Would NCW have a big following?
