The fixture list is designed around the hurling.
The last round of football group games was the 17th of November.
They had to play off the hurling first. Going to be a lot of dual clubs now in around senior. Mungret, nap, k/p, adare, monaleen and In a few years Newcastle west.
Very tough on dual players and dual clubs.
Kudos to Spike for getting the programme of games fully completed.
Already looking forward to NCW v Adare in the 2024 county SFC final.

Wouldnât be surprised if there were more at yesterdays game than the hurling final.

Newcastle West will not fulfil next Saturdayâs fixture against Feenagh & they are right, no sign of the Vice Chairman Frank Reidy yesterday at the county final, his position is Untenable after this weekend. Jimmy Lee let his feelings be known after the game.

Classic Townies. This wonât bother the Feenagh boys who now have an extra week recovery under their belts. Theyâre considerably stronger since the last time they met with that Ryan fella corner forward coming to back into form after struggling with injury all year. Newcastle also after losing a few to seniors
