Limerick GAA 2023-2024.... 5 in a row is not here

Whatever way we approach it we lose out something. Nash has been curtailed by teams pushing up on him, he might get more opportunities to get on the ball at 6, and he’s the most like for like replacement for Hannon. In that case makes most since to put him 6 and bring in English. Tipp unlikely to push up on Nash in with three in the full forward line in the same way though, Galway more likely to I reckon.

For the reason you say, Nash to 6 would be my choice too, he’s not as effective a distributor from 4 if teams sit on him.

But then, Galway played an out-and-out sweeper against us last year, giving us a spare man in general play. So that would mean it’d be fine to keep Nash at 4. Tipp did push up on puckouts at the very least the last day.

Of course you’re not going to know whether a team plays a sweeper or not until the day of the match.

If Kiely doesnt trust Colm Coughlan at wingback at this stage why is he even on the panel? Kiely is chronically conservate when it comes to team selections and its biting him in the ass now.

He was closer to 17 than he was to 16

This is like the equivalent of Kilkenny in their pomp losing Tyrell, JJ and Henry

Because you need 30 lads to have a training match

The best defender in the country, the best centre back (who makes the whole thing tick) and likely the only active hurler with 2 HOTY awards. Limerick are a skeleton at the moment. Any half decent outfit will beat them

The pressure is really on the others now.

And they don’t fancy it. Not one little bit.

The others know that the Limerick brainstrust will come up with something special for the next two matches.

The mortification if they can’t beat us at this stage will be off the chain

You’ve said it all along, although I’d say you’d be happy to be wrong on the INTERNET for the first time ever.

The momentum for Nickie to 6 is building.

Nothing is off the table.

Fucking hell. Jack Neville has put down a serious day of it there.

Eamonn Cregan is the man for the job.

The difference is we are doing it for free and Jack is getting paid :joy:

I haven’t seen any fella here throwing out fancy team graphics and carefully bullet-pointed pros & cons lists though. It’s all in the presentation, Jack is earning his coin.

I’ll pass on your compliments

Funny no one has suggested Byrnes anywhere and he’s probably played centre back the most out of anyone based off club. But everyone might be thinking the same thing of you potentially lose his long range shooting

Its Ronan Lynch or bust for @thelimericks.
