I’m totally agnostic about it, neither team will trouble Ballygunner, I’ll always support my club but after winning 8 since 2011 despite this being our greatest ever team @backinatracksuit i couldn’t begrudge Doon if they finally reach the holy grail.

The story goes that Derek was dropping/not starting a player for one of the earlier games so he called up to his house a few hours before training to deliver the news in person and explain the rational for his decision.
The same player has gone on to have brilliant impact on their season since.
Its the little things that make Derek worth every penny.
