Agreed. The Munster Club is meaningless in comparison. Eat drink and be merry. This is it. Doon were laughed at for years for not getting it done. They got it done.
Drink it fucking in.

123 Doon
The night is barely over, the breakfast club has begun and the day is all set
#Doon
Ive said it here before⌠18 with Limerick was the year we stopped being the nearlymen⌠but 27-10-'24 was the day as a club we entered the promised land. My name âanotheryearâ can now officially be changed
Five
So obviously there were 12 items to pick this year; overall quite high scores with some of the favourites winning/being relegated helping. Out of our 40 entrants, the scores ranged between 2 & 8. Judging off final results, some of the more âout thereâ predictions were @Onthesod & @Gary_Birtles_Lovechi predicting Rathkeale to be relegated when they made a county final, @Heyyoubehindthebushes predicting Newcastlewest to go down to Intermediate when they got promoted to Senior and @Breaking_my_balls predicting Ballybrown to be relegated down to Premier Intermediate, when they went up to the Senior A group.
A majority picked Doon, Mungret, Ballybrown, South Liberties, Feenagh/Kilmeedy, Old Christians & Blackrock 2 so they all went according to plan (some of them were less overwhelming majorities than others).
Judging purely off TFK, the biggest surprises were Kilmallock being relegated from Intermediate and Monaleen winning the Junior A (only 4 & 5 picks respectively).
So that has led to some decent scores.
On 6 points, we have @Bod95, @Aristotle, @ciarancareyshurlingarmy, @Jahan and @Jack_Hackett
Just above them on 7, we have @tonto, @Biff_Egan, @Massey & @pulpfiction.
But this yearâs prediction joint winners with a superb 8 are @anotheryear & @TreatyStones.
Well done to them, and thanks to everyone for entering.
I had Monaleen over Ballybrown. Robbed by dodgy scorekeeping
Excellent stuff⌠delighted to be joint leader with @TreatyStones ⌠and to see my beloved Doon win their first ever county senior title
Itâs not only Doon whoâve buried a hoodoo this weekend
Well done - 17 years in the making
Itâs electric here in ncw with the west awake
Will be some shout if it comes off.
It is.
Iâve felt like Iâve been getting no breaks all year and the Kilmacud Hurlers losing to a last minute goal the other day put the tin hat on it after Inagh had a penalty to make the final in Clare and Kiladangan threw away an 8 point lead in a Quarter Final.
But the wheel always turns or at least i hope it does.
Another thing robbed off Galway.
Hearing Camogue Rovers have put in an objection against Fedamore making it likely that the Junior A football final wonât be played at the weekend.
Something to do with illegal lads from liberties
